14169. At around 4:55 p.m., a vehicle, believed to be a 2013-2018 silver Nissan Altima, struck an adult female pedestrian crossing Baltimore National Pike in a crosswalk while traveling on Baltimore National Pike at Ridge Road. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
14170. According to Philadelphia police, at that time a 52-year-old man was in the running lane on the northeast corner of 10th and Spencer when he was struck by three vehicles, that officials said, were following each other, headed west on Spencer Street and making a left turn onto 10th Street. All three vehicles — a white van, a black Dodge Durango and a light-colored sedan — struck the man and, police said, none of the drivers stopped to render aid or check if the victim was injured, before all three sped off northbound on 10th Street. The victim — who police identified as Stacey Murphy of the city’s Fern Rock neighborhood on Sunday — was pronounced at the scene of the incident at about 8:59 p.m. on Saturday.
14171. A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Chicago’s South Side early Sunday morning, police said.
14172. Police in Detroit are investigating a hit-and-run that critically injured a woman Sunday, Jan. 21. According to authorities, a 56-year-old woman was struck by an unknown vehicle at about 8:30 a.m. as she was walking on Morang Avenue, near Roxbury Street. She was rushed to a hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
14173. The LAPD is looking for help from the public following a fatal hit-and-run Friday night in Panorama City, authorities said on Saturday.
14174. Families of deadly hit-and-run crash victims across Southern California are devastated and seeking justice in a state that leads the nation in the highest number of deadly hit-and-runs.
14175. Nampa Police are looking for information on a fatal hit-and-run vehicle/ pedestrian crash that occurred early Sunday morning. The crash happened Sunday morning Just before 1 a.m. in the 300 block of 2nd Street South. The victim was a 30-year-old Nampa woman who was taken by ambulance to a Boise hospital where she died of her injuries.
14176. (FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento Police Department said they are currently investigating a hit-and-run that has left one person with “significant injuries.”
14177. Virginia State Police are asking for the public’s assistance identifying a Sunday morning hit-and-run victim in Augusta County. Police say the man was killed after being struck by a driver while walking across the southbound lanes of I-81 at mile marker 210 around 4 a.m.
14178. “They could’ve given a call,” Norma Garcia told KTLA. “A simple call and say, ‘Hey, there’s a man on the floor,’ but they didn’t and just kept going. I just want to know why they just left.”
