1455. Tampa, Fla. April 3. Unidentified person struck and killed by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
1456. Erie, Pa. April 4. 18-year-old man suffered a fractured leg and several facial fractures when struck by a black Jeep or Dodge Magnum which fled the scene.
1457. Folly Beach, SC. April 5. 11-year-old girl suffers minor injuries when struck by a gold Dodge Ram 1500, with an unknown company logo on its side, which fled the scene.
1458. Oakland Park, Miami, Fla. April 3. 22-year-old man riding bicycle struck and killed by an unknown vehicle which fled the scene.
1459. Lehigh Acres, Fla. April 2. 33-year-old woman struck and killed by an unknown vehicle which fled the scene.
1460. Douglass, Pa. April 3. 25-year-old off-duty firefighter injured when struck by a “Jeep-like vehicle, dark in color” which fled the scene. If you have information, call 610-367-9474.
1461. Mercedes, Texas. April 4. Pedestrian injured when struck by a dark pickup truck which fled the scene.

A BMW sedan was traveling west on I-66 when it pulled over onto the right shoulder. Daniel S. Park, a passenger, exited the vehicle and walked into the middle of the interstate to vomit. Moments later he was struck by the passing taxi.
The impact of the collision broke off the vehicle’s rooftop taxi light, which was recovered at the scene, Geller said.

Two Voice of America journalists have accused an FBI employee of striking one of them and then driving down a busy downtown D.C. street with the other clinging to the hood of her car.
D.C. police ticketed Joy Ellen Mullinax for changing lanes without caution, but the journalists say she should be facing greater charges: striking a pedestrian; leaving the scene of an accident; and reckless driving and endangerment. They are also seeking $1 million each in compensatory and punitive damages, in a lawsuit filed in D.C. Superior Court on Monday.
