1334. Buffalo, NY. Feb. 17. 59-year-old woman injured after being struck by a light gold or cream-colored Saab SUV which fled the scene.
1335. Manahawkin, NJ. Feb. 17. 22-year-old man critically injured after being struck by an SUV which fled from the rest stop.
1336. Daytona Beach, Fla. Feb. 18. One killed and two injured after being struck by a white sedan, possibly a Buick, Oldsmobile or Nissan, which fled the scene.
1337. Ecorse, Mich. Feb. 19. 47-year-old man on his way home from work at Detroit’s main post office when a car slammed into him; his brain is bleeding, his neck and five ribs are broken and his leg is broken in three places. No car identified.
1338. Chicago. Feb. 18. 40-year-old woman struck and killed by an older model white Pontiac or Buick which fled the scene.
1339. Tucson, Ariz. Feb. 19. 66-year-old man struck and killed by a white Chevy truck with Sonoran license plates, 90’s model with large tires and rims, that took off.
1340. Colorado Springs, Colo. Feb. 18. 17-year-old boy rushed to the hospital with a serious compound fracture of his leg after being struck by a black sedan which fled the scene.
1341. Winston-Salem, NC. Feb. 19. 18-year-old man struck and killed by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.

Despite his injuries, Jones, 30, said he was most concerned with why one of the three Jacksonville Beach police officers on the scene did not seem interested in pursuing the hit-and-run suspect.
The hit-and-run, still unsolved by the Jacksonville Beach Police Department, occurred when the SUV ran a red light as it turned left to travel south on A1A, obstructing Jones’ lane as he traveled through the intersection.
Jones described the vehicle to police as he laid injured in the median: a four-door model, black and, from what Jones remembered, occupied by two young blonde women.
More than a month later, Jones is frustrated that the case is still not solved.

The Kinloch police chief stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Scudder and Hanley on a routine traffic stop. The police chief found out the driver had outstanding warrants and tried to apprehend the suspect and take him into custody. The suspect put the vehicle in drive and struck the police chief in the knee. That began a police pursuit that went into Florissant.
The police chief suffered minor injuries.
