1130. Middle Twp., NJ. Nov. 28. 22-year-old man walking with two friends struck by what appeared to be a Ford which fled the scene, leaving a piece of the passenger side mirror behind. 1132. Secaucus, NJ. Dec. 3. Pedestrian killed by vehicle while crossing highway. Details not immediately released.
1133. Glastonbury, Ct. Dec. 4. Bicyclist was in his 40s carrying a load of recyclables struck and killed by a sporty, silver-gray car that fled, likely with heavy damage to its windshield and front end.
1134. Austin, Texas. Dec. 4. Bicyclist injured after being struck by a tan or brown Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon which fled the scene.
1135. Vallejo, Cal. Dec. 4. Pregnant woman suffers non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a PT Cruiser which sped away. “He was driving like a maniac,” a witness said at the site, her hands still stained with the victim’s blood.
1136. Fort Myers, Fla. Dec. 5. Bicyclist struck and killed by a metallic black 2007-2008 Dodge Ram extended-cab, four-door pickup truck with dark window tint that fled the scene.
1137. Hollister, Cal. Dec. 5. Unidentified man found dead in the middle of the street, reportedly after a hit-and-run with no witnesses.

A Salem (Ore.) woman driving drunk in her neighbor’s car with her young daughter inside got into a crash and then fled the scene, according to investigators. The suspect’s 10-year-old daughter was also injured in the crash.

“It hit me like strait on so I flew over the hood and over the windshield. I broke the windshield and I flew over the car and hit the ground…I was spitting all the glass out and screaming for help…I was thinking okay I’m screaming that means I’m alive,” she said.
Police say the driver, 32 year-old Christopher Trautman, admits to being drunk at the time. He is charged with 14 crimes.

The motorist did not stop to help the woman, who was suffering from life-threatening injuries, he said.
