4684. Hollywood, Fla. Jan. 27. Man in his 40s injured when struck by an SUV and white or silver sedan, both of which fled the scene.
4685. Rochester, NH. Jan. 27. 44-year-old man injured when struck by a gold Chevy pickup truck which fled the scene.
4686-87. Kokomo, Ind. Jan. 26. 31-year-old man and 28-year-old woman injured when struck by a small passenger vehicle which fled the scene.
4688. San Antonio, Texas. Jan. 28. Unidentified man fatally struck by a silver 18-wheeler which fled the scene.
4689. Warrick Co., Ind. Jan. 30. 42-year-old man fatally struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.

An Athens-Clarke County judge recently issued a temporary restraining order against a man facing charges in a drunken driving accident in which he allegedly fled after he struck and critically injured a student in east Athens.
A woman who formerly lived with William Wilson Heaton last Tuesday filed a petition for a restraining order in which she accused Heaton of harassing her.
The woman stated in her petition that the harassment started Jan. 11 after she filed a police report concerning Heaton. It continued up until the time she filed the petition.

DAVISON, MI — A woman killed in a hit-and-run accident in Houston, Texas, in 1980 is Paulette Jaster, the former Davison High School honor student who vanished nearly 35 years ago, a Michigan State Police detective says.
MSP Detective Robert Dunham said Wednesday, Jan. 29, that a representative of the Harris County, Texas, Medical Examiner’s Office notified him of the positive identification based in part on “an abundance of circumstantial evidence.”
Peg Sperlich, a sister of Jaster, who was last seen leaving Davison on May 12, 1979, told The Flint Journal this week that family members already knew the dead woman was Jaster, based on photographs.

MUSKEGON, MI – Antonio Keshawn Raglin pleaded no contest as charged today, Jan. 29, in a high-profile, videotaped hit-and-run case involving striking and briefly dragging a stroller with an 18-month-old baby in it.
Raglin, 21, pleaded no contest to two counts of failure to stop at the scene of a personal-injury accident, a maximum one-year misdemeanor, and one count of driving while his license was suspended, a 30-day misdemeanor.

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Police have arrested a man in connection to the hit-and-run that killed two women as they crossed the street in a crosswalk Jan. 19.
According to the Vancouver Police Department, Brandon C. Smith, 27, agreed through his attorney to turn himself in to police. He did so Wednesday at 5 p.m. without incident and will be booked into the Clark County Jail on two counts of vehicular homicide, three counts of hit-and-run, one count of vehicular assault and one count of tampering with evidence, police said.
