3271. Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Dec. 20. 5-year-old boy struck and killed by a Pontiac Grand Am, with a sun or moon roof, which fled the scene.
3272. E. Hartford, Ct. Dec. 22. Man injured when struck by a grey Acura Integra which fled the scene.
3273. Watsonville, Cal. Dec. 22. Man injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
3274. Horry County, SC. Dec. 22. 57-year-old woman struck and killed by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
3275. Teaneck, NJ. Dec. 24. Man in his 20s injured when struck by a “newer” red Volvo which fled the scene.

3283. Fresno, Cal. Christmas. 56-year-old man on bicycle struck and killed by a dark pick-up truck which fled the scene.
3284. Mobile, Ala. 20-year-old man critically injured when struck by a 1997-99 Chevy Tahoe, and a driver with an “intent to kill,” which fled the scene.

A 23-year-old woman is scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon on charges that she plowed her car into three pedestrians last week — killing a mother in front of her horrified son — while at the scenic Twin Peaks lookout.
On Monday, prosecutors charged San Francisco resident Gina Eunice with four felonies, two misdemeanors and an infraction related to the Thursday night collision on Christmas Tree Point Road that knocked the pedestrians about 30 feet down a hillside.

VALLEJO, Calif. — A hit and run driver killed a man and his dog in Vallejo Thursday and police are asking for help to find the person responsible.
A 64-year old man, still holding onto the dog’s leash, was found Thursday morning along with the dog at the intersection of Sutter and Louisiana streets in west Vallejo, Vallejo police Lt. Lee Horton said.

33-year-old Buffy Mitchell was crossing East Brundage Lane, just west of Mount Vernon when she was hit by a van.
The driver, Mary Cruz, stopped to help her, but Mitchell was struck by a second vehicle and later died.
Police say the driver of the second car did not stop.

PROSPER — Celina police are looking for a suspect involved in a hit-and-run collision Friday that left a 16-year-old male Prosper resident in critical condition.
The collision occurred at 10:55 p.m. on Frontier Parkway near County Road 84 and involved the Prosper teenager and an unknown vehicle. The preliminary investigation revealed that motorists called 911 earlier in the night to report a person jumping in front of vehicles on Frontier Parkway. As the motorists would slow down to avoid the person, they would try to jump on their vehicle.

WALKER TOWNSHIP, Huntingdon County — State police say a Huntingdon man was arrested Sunday after he was called in for questioning about a hit-and-run crash earlier in the day, and arrived at the police station intoxicated and driving the same vehicle that had been involved in the crash.

ST. PETERSBURG (FOX 13) – Police in St. Petersburg say while they were arresting a hit-and-run driver, another man opened fire on them.

A Lubbock woman is charged with a felony count of evading arrest with a vehicle after a hit-and-run crash with a bicycle earlier this month near the Texas Tech campus.

PHOENIX – A valley family is spending Christmas without a loved one — killed just last week in a tragic hit and run.
They say the worst part is that the man accused of leaving the 51-year-old mother and grandmother for dead is free on bond.
On Christmas morning, Sarah Maria Junior and her aunt shared an embrace. A few feet away from where they stood is a memorial that honors her mother.
“It’s just so hard..I feel like I can’t get out of bed, but I know that I gotta be strong so that she can have the perfect funeral that she deserves,” said SaraH.
On December 18th, the maroon Saturn Sarah Maria Esparza was driving was struck by a white Dodge Charger. The 51-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Fidel Ortiz, fled on foot and police later found him hiding at a nearby home.

A 67-year-old woman died in a hit-and-run crash early Christmas morning in Logan Square. The victim was identified as 67-year-old Obduila Villalobos.

YUMA, Ariz. (KSWT News 13) – A Yuma County Superior Court judge has set the sentencing date for the hit-and-run driver who killed 19-year-old Christopher Humbert this summer.
Joseph Dildine, 26, will face only one count, leaving the scene of an accident involving a death, at 8:30 a.m. on January 16, 2013.
In exchange for his guilty plea earlier this month, a count of aggravated DUI and a count of negligent homicide were dropped.
Court records show he was driving on a suspended license at the time.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – A 21-year-old man was charged in a Grand Rapids drunk driving, hit-and-run accident that left an 8-year-old Detroit girl dead and left two other siblings hospitalized.
Bryon Juarez is accused of being drunk and driving an SUV that ran a red light and crashed into a small car carrying six people at the corner of Hall and Buchanan SW on Sunday afternoon.
The 8-year-old, Dayma Roblero, died at the scene. Five others were taken to the hospital to be treatment. Diyami Roblero, 4, was seriously injured and Bibna Roblero, 10, is recuperating. Both remain in the hospital.
