3260. Tulsa, Okla. Dec. 15. 80-year-old woman injured when struck by a white or silver Lincoln, Cadillac or Taurus which fled the scene.
3261. Washington, DC. Dec. 18. 47-year-old man fatally struck by a black Dodge Charger which fled the scene.
3262. Camp Hill, Pa. Dec. 20. 23-year-old man injured when struck by a red or maroon vehicle — possibly a smaller station wagon model of a Ford — which fled the scene.
3263. Flagler Co., Fla. Dec. 20. 17-year-old male critically injured when struck by a blue Dodge pickup truck or SUV which fled the scene.
3264-67. San Francisco, Cal. Dec. 20. Three people injured when struck by, and one injured when jumping out of the way of, a grey sedan which fled the scene (but was found shortly thereafter). [More information]
3268. Shippensburg, Pa. Dec. 20. 20-year-old man injured when struck by a grey or gold Honda which fled the scene.
3269. Rubidoux, Cal. Dec. 19. 54-year-old woman struck and killed by a Chevy or GMC which fled the scene.
3270. Denver, Co. Dec. 19. Man critically injured when struck by a white Honda CRV, after an altercation of some sort, which fled the scene.

It all started around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday when Gregory E. Henderson, 34, of Lima, a contractor working at the refinery, went back to retrieve something from his vehicle, Marik said. When he got to his vehicle, which was parked near Husky’s Gate 8, Henderson discovered the man inside his vehicle. A confrontation ensued and as the man fled his vehicle struck Henderson and ran him over.

OCEAN SPRINGS — Police are searching for a Biloxi woman who bonded out of jail on a misdemeanor drunk driving charge Sunday because she is now facing a felony charge of hit and run.
Police have been unable to locate Lisa B. Sanchez, of the 16000 block of B Cook Road since her release following her arrest on a DUI charge. Police said she was driving a white Ford Explorer around 1:40 a.m. Sunday in front of Mezo’s Juke Joint on Government Street when she struck a pedestrian.

A former city police officer, accused in a series of hit-and-run crashes in New Orleans and Jefferson Parish, is scheduled for a trial Thursday on the latest wreck. Roger Jones Jr., 38, who used to handle “quality of life” issues in the 8th District, resigned from the department in late September after he allegedly crashed his personal car in the French Quarter, then claimed the car had been stolen in an effort to cover his tracks.

RESEDA (CBSLA.com) — Police now say they are looking for two drivers in a fatal hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of a 22-year-old pedestrian earlier this month.
The fatal crash happened just after 2 a.m. December 2 at the intersection of Reseda Boulevard and Topham Street. Originally, police were looking for a 1997 or 1998 Chevy Tahoe.
Tommy Price was walking home when he was struck by the Tahoe. Now police tell CBS2 and KCAL9 reporter Amanda Burden that they are looking for a second driver, as well — this one in a dark-colored compact.
Police said neither driver pulled over to help the victim or call authorities.

A jury in federal court in Central Islip on Wednesday convicted the brother of the hit-and-run driver who police say killed a nun in Water Mill nearly six months ago.
The jury, after about four and a half hours of deliberation over two days, found Miguel Ixpec-Chitay of Riverhead, whose age was not available but is in his 20s, guilty of lying to investigators during the search for his brother. Sentencing is set for January 8 at 1 p.m.

“This is a residential neighborhood with a 25 mph limit, and there are indications from witnesses the vehicle may have been doing twice that this afternoon,” said Phoenix Police Sgt. Trent Crump.
After the crash, the driver of the Charger took off on foot. That driver was found hiding in a relative’s backyard. A witness directed police to his location.
