819. New York City. Aug. 26. 45-year-old man riding bicycle critically injured after being struck by a flat-bed truck which fled the scene.
820. Holyoke, Mass. Aug. 28. Man seriously injured after he was struck by a light-colored SUV while standing next to a State Police cruiser.
821. Bronx, NYC. Aug. 28. 5-year-old boy critically injured after being struck by a Nissan Pathfinder which fled the scene.
Witnesses say the five year old was thrown about 30 feet underneath a blue pickup truck.
His older sister ran to him.
“He was just laying there. He wasn’t breathing at the time. And my niece picked him up,” Livington Brown said.
822. Dallas. Aug. 28. 20-year-old man struck and killed by a vehicle which fled the scene, but left a license plate behind.
823. Phoenix, Ariz. Aug. 27. Member of a motorcycle gang struck by a semi which fled the scene.
824. Pacific Beach, Cal. Aug. 28. 26-year-old man seriously injured after being struck by a black pick-up truck which fled the scene.
825. Morrow, Ga. Aug. 29. 7-year-old child injured after being involved in a crash with a heavily damaged, dark-colored 1997 Lexus LX 450 with license plate number BVQ3081.
