HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Lower Paxton Township Police are investigating a man being held at gunpoint in the Eagle Crest Apartments.

On early Saturday morning a resident reported that he had been visiting a relative in the complex when he left to get something to eat. Just outside the complex on Old Union Deposit Road, the victim’s vehicle was struck by a blue Saturn Vue that did not stop.

The victim followed the striking vehicle onto Eaglecrest Road, where he confronted the driver about hitting him and told him that he was calling the police.

Police said the driver followed the victim into one of the apartment stairways with a handgun. In a common hallway of the building, the male grabbed the victim from behind, put him up against a wall and held a handgun to the victim’s head telling him that he would kill him if he did call the police.

CARMICHAEL— The man who claims to be the tipster that lead CHP to the location of an SUV wanted in a deadly hit and run says he wasn’t trying to get anyone in trouble but simply doing what he felt he had to do.

The hit and run case that left Paul Pellandini dead outside of his Arden Arcade home and his friend Bill Collins seriously hurt, had gone cold until CHP received the tip.
