2240. Woodbridge, NJ. Jan. 21. 43-year-old man struck and killed by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
2241. Santa Ana, Cal. Jan. 20. Male bicyclist knocked unconscious with head injuries when struck by a white pickup, possibly a Toyota Tundra, with a ladder rack and ladders on top, as well as blue lettering running on the length of the truck, which fled the scene.
2242. Lansing, Mich. Jan. 21. 61-year-old woman injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
2243. Fulton, Ky. Jan. 21. Man struck and critically injured by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
2244. Parkville, Md. Jan. 22. 68-year-old woman struck and killed by a light-colored, four-door 2005-2007 Ford 500 sedan which fled.
2245. Waco, Texas. Jan. 23. 41-year-old man critically injured when struck by a 1997 to 2005 red extended cab Ford Ranger pickup truck which fled the scene.
2246. Gulfport, Miss. Jan. 24. 15-year-old Elisha Skinner was reportedly walking home from a family member’s home when she was fatally struck by a 2006 through 2008 Chevrolet Impala brown or bronze in color. (Update: Arrest, of a cousin)
2247-48. Denver, Colo. Jan. 23. Two pedestrians injured when struck by a white 2007 Kia Rio with the Colorado license plate number 102-WWC which fled the scene. (Update: Arrest) (Update: She returned to the scene)
2249. New Brunswick, NJ. Jan. 26. 26-year-old man on bicycle fatally struck by a dark colored Toyota 4Runner built between 1995 and 2002 hit him near the corner of Georges Road and South Talmadge Street and then kept going. Surveillance video showed a heartbreaking look at the last few moments of Leonel Hernandez’s life.

After striking and killing a Roseville man on an Interstate 94 exit ramp, Amy Senser sped off and drove around for more than a half hour, talking on the phone, before she drove back by the scene of the hit-and-run, according to an amended criminal complaint filed Monday.
She never stopped at the site, and when her daughters and a friend arrived later at the Sensers’ home in Edina, they found the wife of former Minnesota Vikings player Joe Senser asleep on a couch on the porch, according to the court document.

A 94-year-old woman who was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Jupiter last month has died. Jupiter police Sgt. Scott Pascarella said Eunice Dekiel died Sunday while in hospice care from injuries she suffered in the crash.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – A snow plow operator stands accused by police of hitting a woman and leaving her unconscious in the street. The victim, Andrena Pollantis, is now in critical condition at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Twp., Lehigh Co. The plow driver, Keith K. Kichline, faces multiple charges, including failing to stop and render aid. Court documents show Kichline was driving with a suspended license.

BALDWIN PARK – An unlicensed and drunken driver who struck and killed a 25-year-old Baldwin Park woman as she was walking to church last year was sentenced to nearly 20 years in prison Tuesday, officials said.

The driver of the vehicle, Richard A. Lynch, 52, Walnut Bottom, was taken into police custody shortly afterward, when his car was located with heavy body damage and a shredded front tire in the parking lot of Wal-Mart a little more than a mile away.
