2076. Jacksonville, Fla. Nov. 19. Man suffers life-threatening injuries when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
2077. Orange, Texas. Nov. 19. 46-year-old woman struck and killed by a vehicle which fled the scene. “A 2002 green Honda was located … a distance from the crash, and it had damage which indicated it had been involved in a traffic accident. The driver of the vehicle was questioned … and released.”
2078. San Jose, Cal. Nov. 18. Man in his 60s struck and killed by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
2079. Charlotte, NC. Nov. 20. 30-year-old woman struck and killed by a dark pickup truck which fled the scene.
2080. Pembroke Pines, Fla. Nov. 19. 13-year-old boy injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
2081. Honolulu. Nov. 19. 19-year-old Hawaii Pacific University student killed when she was struck by a white sedan with dark rims and dark tint which fled the scene. (Updated with arrest).
2082. Newburgh, NY. Nov. 19. Pedestrian struck and seriously injured when struck by a blue sedan, possibly a BMW, with gold plates, driven by a white female with blonde hair, which fled the scene.
2083. Reserve Twp., Pa. Nov. 20. 21-year-old man injured when struck and dragged down the street by a 2000 dark-colored Chevrolet Blazer, possibly green or blue, which fled the scene.
2084. El Paso, Texas. Nov. 21. 19-year-old woman injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
2085. Carlsbad, Cal. Nov. 20. 62-year-old man suffers serious head injuries when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
2086. Venice, Cal. Nov. 20. 85-year-old woman injured when struck by a Ford F350 towing a gray trailer which fled the scene.
2087. Houston. Nov. 21. Man leaving an adult novelty store struck by several vehicles while attempting to cross the freeway. The first vehicle to hit him fled; the others stayed.
2088. Brandonville, WV. Nov. 21. 15 year-old girl injured when struck by a gray-over-black two-toned pick-up with Ohio license plates, which fled the scene.

JACKSON, Miss. — A 40-year-old man is charged in connection with in a hit-and-run case that killed a 13-year old boy. Police said George Newell Jr. surrendered to police Saturday and is charged with felony leaving the scene of an accident.

A 23-year-old man was jumped by a group and slashed in the back when a melee inside Amnesia, a club on Steinway St. in Astoria, spilled onto the street just after 4 a.m. closing time.
The driver of a champagne-colored vehicle who happened to be passing by the melee hit several club-goers, slammed into a parked Jeep Grand Cherokee and then fled the scene, cops and witnesses said.
“He hit the people and that car and he stopped for a second but then he drove off,” said a witness who declined to give his name.

A South Jersey grandmother is grateful to be alive after being struck by a car last Monday. But more than that, she’s also grateful for the Good Samaritan who helped capture the alleged hit-and-run driver.
Goldie Wulderk, 83, was getting out of her parked station wagon Monday night on Pearl Street in Bridgeton when she was suddenly struck by an SUV driving down the street.
“I flew up in the air and I came down on my back and my head bounced twice,” said Wulderk.

An Allen Park resident was injured in a hit and run after the victim helped break up a fight outside Big League Brews on Ecorse Road in Taylor.
At about 2 a.m. Nov. 12 the Allen Park man exited the bar and saw a fight where three attackers outnumbered one man.
Taylor resident Michael Frost said when his brother, a former military police officer of the United States Army, tried to help the outnumbered man by pulling his attackers off.
One of the attackers got in his vehicle and hit Frost’s brother with it, Frost said, then tried to back up on him. His brother was able to get out of the way of the vehicle as it backed up, he said.
