Hit-and-Run America, Vol. CCCXLVII

hit-and-run_420 An ongoing collection of unsolved hit-and-run cases, with a focus on car/pedestrian incidents, from across the country since Jan. ‘010. If you know something about any of these incidents, or one that I’ve missed, do the right thing and call the police, even anonymously.
NOTE: The July entries will be of an abbreviated format as I’m on quasi-sabbatical from the site for the month. This doesn’t mean these cases should be taken any less seriously.

• “BRADLEY BEACH (NJ) — Police have released a sketch of the man wanted in an ongoing hit-and-run investigation. Police said the man is wanted for aggravated assault by auto for intentionally hitting Thomas Bowker Jr., 25, of Bradley Beach with his vehicle at the intersection of Ocean Park and Central avenues on July 4 and then fleeing.
Bowker told police that the driver of the vehicle deliberately hit him twice, first with the rear of the vehicle and then with the front. He was then dragged for a block and a half. Police responded to the incident at 11:42 p.m., and Bowker was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.”
