3067. Dennis Twp., NJ. Oct. 21. 22-year-old man riding his bicycle injured when struck by a dark-colored SUV, possibly a Jeep Grand Cherokee which fled the scene.
3068. Brooklyn, NY. Oct. 21. 42-year-old man struck and killed by a livery cab which fled the scene.
3069. Houston, Texas. Oct. 20. Woman riding bicycle home from work injured struck by a Chevy pickup truck which fled the scene.
3070. Decatur, Ala. Oct. 21. 23-year-old man injured when struck by a grey Chevy pickup truck which fled the scene.
3071. Jackson, Miss. Oct. 21. Man in his 40s struck and killed by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.

3077. Tulsa, Okla. Oct. 22. Baby knocked out of stroller when struck by a black Jeep which fled the scene. “‘She just had a bump on her head,’ said Officer Leland Ashley of the Tulsa Police Department.”

Gitsas said witnesses saw the driver pick up a prostitute and was speeding away through the intersection when he struck the woman, whose identity has not yet been released.
“He takes off toward the middle of town and, as the woman was hitting the ground, the driver of jitney No. 155 was on the radio telling someone to call 911 and putting out the description to the 27 jitneys that were working,” Gitsas explained. “The drivers were all on the radios, ‘Keep an eye out this way, that way’ for a black pickup truck, PA tags, toolbox in the back.”
Also helping was a jitney passenger who had written down the truck’s license-plate number.
“Within five, 10 minutes, everybody knew what we were looking for,” Gitsas told NewsWorks. “The 911 dispatcher asked how we were getting this information so quickly.”
Mother of three, Karina Menzies, died and four adults and five children remain in hospital after the driver of a white van went on a rampage through the streets of the Welsh capital on Friday afternoon.
At special church service at the Church of Resurrection in Ely, Cardiff, Reverend Jan Gould called on her congregation, many of whom were weeping during the hymns and readings, not to resort to “revenge”.
“Whether we’ve personally known one or more of the victims of Friday’s terrible events, or whether we are here as a member of this community simply wanting to show solidarity, there can be no one who has not been profoundly affected by what has happened here this week,” she said.
Newark Police have arrested a 46-year-old Newark man in connection with a hit-and-run collision that injured three pedestrians in the unit block of East Cleveland Avenue early Saturday morning.
Police said a group of pedestrians, including a 21-year-old female from Morristown, N.J., a 19-year-old female from Irvington, N.Y., and a 19-year-old female from Northport, N.Y., were walking westbound on the north side of East Cleveland Avenue around 12:15 a.m. Saturday when Erroll Johnson, 46, of Newark, driving a 2001 Dodge Dakota Pickup truck traveling westbound, struck the 21-year-old female pedestrian, who was walking in the roadway just off of the curb.
