3060. Fayetteville, NC. Oct. 18. 53-year-old woman struck and killed by a truck or SUV which fled the scene.
3061. Albuquerque, NM. Oct. 19. Pedestrian injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
3062. Minot, ND. Oct. 19. 62-year-old man injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
3063-65. Newark, Del. Oct. 20. 21-year-old woman injured when struck by a 2001 Dodge Dakota which fled the scene; two 19-year-olds injured from flying debris. Driver caught after witnesses got license-plate number.
3066. Castle Canyon Mesa, Az. Oct. 18. 17-year-old girl injured when struck by a white four-door sedan which fled the scene.

Luis P. Pena, of the 2700 block of West 24th Place fled the scene of the crash on the 1700 block of North Milwaukee Avenue about 2 a.m. but was pulled over soon afterward nearby at North and Oakley avenues, police said.

Decatur Township police arrested Christopher Ray Johnson, 20, Philipsburg, on a probation violation Wednesday night, and charged him Thursday afternoon with six offenses, including accidents involving personal injury or death, reckless driving, duty to give information and render aid and disorderly conduct.

A 20-year-old man had already been arrested and released three times this year when police say he hit and killed a pedestrian in Canoga Park while driving a stolen car.
Ernesto Jacinto Lopez of Canoga Park is charged with killing Arnel Cantal, 59, last week. He has been held since minutes after the crash, and his bail was more than $1.1 million as of Friday.
Prosecutors charged him Friday with eight counts, including murder, grand theft auto, evading an officer and leaving the scene of an accident.

According to charges, Ashley Bashore, then 19, hit Hubert Tunuchuk, 28, as he walked on the Tudor Road overpass above the Seward Highway early on April 24, 2011.
