Police released a sketch of a driver suspected in a hit-and-run collision that left a pedestrian dead in southwest Houston last month.
The collision occurred about 2:15 a.m. March 14 in the 3400 block of W. Fuqua near Buffalo Speedway, according to the Houston Police Department.
Police said the pedestrian, Richard Coburn Jr., died at the scene.
“Please call Crime Stoppers,” said HPD Officer James Cordinas during a news conference Tuesday about the case.

Denver’s Civil Service Commission has refused to temporarily return to work a detective fired for failing to follow-up on a tip and then lying about it.
In February a Civil Service hearing panel made up of lawyers who contract with the commission to hear discipline cases, overturned the firing of Jay Estrada.
The City appealed the decision and asked for a stay of the reinstatement until the Commission hears the city’s appeal.
Estrada was on the traffic-accident investigations team in December 2010 when Laurie Gorham Sherlock, then 27 and 34-weeks pregnant, was hit as she crossed a street in the Stapleton neighborhood. Sherlock’s child was delivered, but did not survive.
