83. Stockton, Cal. Feb. 14. 52-year-old man suffers “a head injury and a cut on his arm” when struck by “a black Ford Explorer or Expedition.”
84. Compton. Feb. 14. Man in his 30s fatally struck by minivan. “Surveillance video from a market across the street shows the driver pull over, get out of the vehicle and walk over to the victim, but then get back into his van and flee the scene. Witnesses said they believe the driver was well aware of what happened when he took off.”
85. Little Rock, Ark. Feb. 16. An Arkansas state senator and his wife injured as an unidentified SUV struck their vehicle and fled.
86 and 87. Ann Arbor, Mich. Feb. 16. Two vehicle-on-vehicle hit-and-runs reported within 20 minutes of each other. No injuries, except to the cars.
