Here’s The Police Report About Marvin Harrison Getting Shot At In Philly

Former Indianapolis Colt (and noteworthy Strawberry Mansion figure) Marvin Harrison got shot at in Philly the other night. You can read about it in David Gambacorta’s piece in the Daily News (linked here).

On 6/14/14 approximately 3:27 am, 19th District Police Officers responded to a radio call for a report of a person with a gun someone breaking in which brought them to 4077 Ford Road.

Upon arrival, the officers located the complainant who was in his boxer shorts and the witness inside of the witness’s Ford F-350 pick-up truck. The complainant subsequently told the officers that two unknown males forced their way into his residence and chased him outside firing two times at him as he flagged down the witness for help. The scene was held for Southwest Detectives. No ballistic evidence was located.

The complainant was formally interviewed relaying the following in summary:

On 6/14/14 approximately 3:20 am, the complainant was sleeping in his bed when he heard someone kicking in the back door to his apartment. Two unknown black males then entered the residence. The complainant then ran to another room as the males began to search his room. The complainant ran outside and flagged down the witness. The complainant jumped into the rear of the witness’s truck as the offenders exited his residence. The complainant and witness then observed offender #1 fire two times in their direction. The offenders then fled in an unknown dark sedan. The complainant discovered that approximately $500 USC was taken from his dresser. The scene was photographed by members of Southwest Detective Division and checked for any additional evidence with negative results. The complainant’s room was ransacked and the rear door was forced open.

The witness did not come to Southwest for an interview. The assigned spoke with the witness over the phone and additional attempts will be made to formally interview the witness. Motive-Robbery for money

Offenders- #1-Unknown black male 5’5” thin build all dark clothing and mask wearing gloves armed with a firearm. NFI
#2-Unknown black male, 6’1 stocky build wearing all dark clothing and mask. NFI

Actions Taken –Interviews conducted, scene processed by SWDD, area checked for surveillance and attempts will be made to obtain video from Five Points bar which may have captured offenders
