Ayo, this footage is crisp. To the point that you can see one of the fightin’ ladies kick a school bus that tried to get through this arena of war in the 2500 block of N. 17th St. And to the point that you can make out erbody who was there if you’re familiar with the neighborhood. Which leads to this question: Who dat white lady that pops up on the screen at the 3:39 mark, the lady who’s expression is either Gloverian or Clerksian in its “wasn’t even supposed to be here today” sensibility.
Most of the actual fightin’s over within the first two minutes, but I love seeing my hometown on film.
