First thing I thought when I heard four bodies were found grouped together, near water, on Long Island earlier this week? Terry Oleson’s life is about to become a living hell again.
Oleson’s the guy who Atlantic County (NJ) authorities kept locked up while they tried in vain to build a case that he was the man responsible for the strangulation murders of four prostitutes found behind a motel on the Pike leading into Atlantic City in 2006. Every time one of these cases happens, people think about that guy Terry who was suspected in the A.C. Hooker Killings. And with similarities between A.C. and the N.Y. slayings, his name was bound to come up.
Having written a cover story for Philadelphia City Paper about the A.C. slayings (headline: Disposable Lives) and one about Oleson for Philadelphia Weekly (headline: The Fifth Victim), it was an inevitability for me to write a piece about possible connections between the cases.
