Flavor Flav’s chicken shack in Iowa closes, cracka ass cracka likely responsible

WQAD-TV: Flav’s Fried Chicken shuts down

The Clinton, Iowa business is closing its doors after just four months. But this isn’t a mutual splitting between rapper and reality star Flavor Flav and restaurant manager Nick Cimino. Neither is happy with the way the other has performed.

“I started this,” Cimino said. “I put together everything from the menu to the color of the building to the sign. I did everything. What Flav’s doing, he’s a fraud. He doesn’t want to be hurt with the other ventures he’s doing and he wants to become a millionaire off my dime, off my ideas.”

“I gave [Cimino] permission to take my name and my licence to operate a business,” Flavor Flav said on the phone. “I have to do whatever is possible for me to save my name and that’s to shut the business down because Nick Cimino isn’t running the business right.”

A few weeks ago, News 8 investigated a situation at FFC involving employees not getting paid. According to Flavor Flav, that situation was the last straw in the business.
