Another Divorce Court death happened recently. Young guy, too. Michael Tagnani, born in ’85. Don’t know how he died in late August, but I know that we traded emails after his appearance on the program. Here’s what he wrote.
Whats up brian,
I’m Mike Tagnani, I was bored and did a google search on my last name and your post about my divorce court episode came up. Funny post. I don’t know if you no this but divorce court is not real. In fact me and carrie are still together and we were hired to do the show. $500 bucks each. We were never married but plan on it someday. I’m aware that she’s hot and even if she was a hypochondriac like the script said she was, I’d still be with her.
take care.
You take care too, Mike. (Sorry for captioning your picture “Douchebag;” you seemed a’ight). And my condolences to the family.

please delete this, its disrespectful to a good person, the show was fake, it was set up that way, please delete this..have some respect
i meant the other post whatever
I was Mike’s best friend and I just wanted to say I appreciate your posts. Both of them came up when I googled my late best friend and just reading them, regardless of the opinion, made me smile. The show is completely fake, he told me the whole story of his experience on divorce court and it was completely made up by the producers. Mike and Carrie did it for fun and a free trip to Hollywood. Mike was a great guy and an even better boyfriend to Carrie. Thanks for featuring the two on your blog. He was a SEO professional and in some weird way I guarantee he loved searching his own name on Google and seeing your blog post come up. Thanks again brother, and i really respect your condolences. Stay up brotha…
I appreciate that, mbb.
Love to read about a great friend(he made everyone feel like they were his best friend, I don’t know how he did it…)and he always had peoples’ backs. I will never understand what causes someone to take their own life but his legacy lives on. He was truly the happiest and most fun person in the whole world. Thank you for the blog and thank you for having it up. Sorry to anyone offended by it but Mike always loved a good laugh. RIP. U will always B remembered.
