Casino-Free Philly Shrugged
Listen, instead of sending out emails that include the sentence …
The media is one of the framers of the public dialogue on the casino industry, and by working with it we can re-frame that dialogue to include our personal narratives.
… why not just come right out and say, “This workshop will teach you how to guilt reporters into telling your personal anti-casino sob story instead of wasting their time presenting both sides of a controversial issue. Having a handful of reporters in town who will take what we say and do as gospel is a good start, but it’s just not enough! We still have to answer to the overlords who sent our Dear Protest-Group Leaders here in the first place!!”
See, that would suffice if you’re into honesty and all that kind of stuff.
Sincerely,
Brian
