An Important Message For Floyd Mayweather

Dear Mr. Mayweather,

Hey, Floyd. I feel as if I can call you Floyd, what with having met you nine years ago before you decimated the late Arturo Gatti. You probably remember talking about that fancy watch you were wearing in Atlantic City. I know I do.

Anyway, that’s not why I’m writing today. This is:

I don’t care what you spend your money on.

I don’t care what kind of smack you talk.

I don’t care about any of that whole “lifestyle” narrative that you’ve brought to the latest installment of “All Access: Mayweather vs. Maidana.”

What I care about, after hearing you’ve bought more luxury rides than some city populations, is that you wear a goddamn seat belt when you’re driving and talking to the cameras.

It’s just common sense for your safety, and for setting a good example for the children, Money.

Thanks,

Brian

P.S. If you want to repay me for this valuable advice, a pair of ringside seats left at will call next weekend would be lovely.
