1904. Atlanta. Sept. 25. 23-year-old man celebrating his upcoming marriage died after being struck by a black, four-door Mercedes or BMW which fled the scene.
1905. Los Angeles. Sept. 26. 61-year-old woman who stopped to remove an injured dog from the road hit by a red Buick with damage on the passenger-side door which fled. “The woman was taken to the hospital with a broken leg and a lacerated liver. The dog did not survive.”
1906. Robbinsdale, Minn. Sept. 25. 75-year-old man injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
1907. Mundy Twp., Mich. Sept 25. 27-year-old man killed when struck by a red vehicle, believed to have front-end damage to its passenger-side headlight and hood and possibly its windshield, which fled.
1908. Warren, Mich. Sept. 26. 93-year-old man seriously injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which left behind a headlight lens and a couple of pieces when it fled.
1909. Fort Wayne, Ind. Sept. 27. Boy hospitalized after being struck by a light blue or gray SUV, possibly a Nissan, which fled the scene.
1910. Ellwood City, Pa. Sept. 28. 14-year-old boy injured when struck by a four-door tan or brown colored car — possibly a Pontiac — driven by a white man between 25 and 30 years old who fled.
1911. Kaneohe, Hawaii. Sept. 27. 65-year-old woman injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
1912. Pasadena, Cal. Sept 27. 31-year-old bicyclist injured when stuck by a mid-sized dark-colored SUV which fled the scene.
1913. Phoenix. Sept. 28. 73-year-old man killed when struck by a black or dark green, 2 or 4-door vehicle, possibly a Honda Civic, GEO or Saturn, with tinted windows and a loud muffler.
1914. Philadelphia. Sept. 29. 46-year-old woman killed when struck by a bright blue pickup with silver flames on the side which fled the scene.
1915. Nampa, Idaho. Sept. 24. 7-year-old boy suffers minor injuries after being struck by a Jeep which fled the scene.
