Rochester suspect
1111-1114. Rochester, Minn. Nov. 28. One of two pedestrians killed, the other injured when struck by a vehicle which fled the scene, proceeding to strike two more pedestrians and dragging them before jumping out of the car and running. Was caught 20 minutes later. Police said “alcohol use is suspected as a factor in the crash.”
1115. Carmi, Ill. Nov. 27. 21-year-old man injured after being struck by a dark-colored truck which didn’t stop to help.
1116. Trenton, NJ. Nov. 27. 42-year-old woman struck and killed by a vehicle which fled. “A canvas of the immediate area was made in an attempt to locate the suspect, to no avail,” police said. “The suspect vehicle should have substantial front-end damage, including broken plastic headlight shields and a shattered windshield,” he said.
1117. Charlotte, NC. Nov. 28. 68-year-old man killed when struck by a dark blue Ford pickup truck or SUV that took off. “It’s going to have pretty extensive front-end damage, particularly the grill area,” said Sgt. David Sloan. Police hoped that particular detail would generate tips from the public, ultimately leading investigators to the driver.
1118. Freeport, NY. Nov. 27. 54-year-old man injured after being struck by a tan sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry or a Nissan with white New York license plates, which fled the scene.
1119. Exeter Twp., Pa. Nov. 29. Man rushed to hospital after trying to stop the driver of the car that hit him from vandalizing his house. Officers describe the car as a smaller, black car and part of the license plate says “DH.”
1120. Green Creek, NJ. Nov. 28. Pedestrian injured after being struck by a Ford.
