15426. HOUSTON – Two drivers are wanted in connection to a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened in Houston on Tuesday evening, according to police.
15427. Las Vegas Metro police seek the driver involved in a hit-and-run that left a pedestrian critically injured. According to LVMPD on Feb. 12 just before midnight a pedestrian was involved in a hit-and-run near East Cheyenne and Nellis Boulevard.
15428. According to police, 70-year-old Pamela Pepperall was crossing on Braeswood when she was struck by a white SUV that was driving westbound. Paramedics took Pepperall to a hospital. Police say she is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
15429. Rochester, N.Y. — A cyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash Friday night on the city’s northeast side, according to police.

15433. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man is in critical condition after being hit by a car while crossing 8th Avenue South, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
15434. A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Des Moines. Police say this was at the 900th block of Hull Avenue around 11:30 p.m. They say the man died from his injuries at the scene.
15435. BARDSTOWN, Ky. – Kentucky State Police responded to a hit-and-run collision in Nelson Co. Friday night that resulted in a fatality.
15436. A driver who was street racing struck and killed a pedestrian in South Los Angeles Saturday night, police said.
15437. Authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspected hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a teen boy on a minibike in South Los Angeles early Sunday morning.
15438. Just before 8 p.m., a 68-year-old woman was crossing the street near the intersection of North and Lotus avenues when she was hit by a gray four-door sedan, causing life-threatening injuries, Chicago police said.

15440. Virginia (Minn.) police are investigating a hit and run that happened around 4:45 Monday evening, Feb. 24. It took place near the intersection of 6th Ave. and 9th St. N. Police received a report that an elderly man had been hit by a truck that then left the scene.
15441. SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — Just before noon on Monday (Feb. 24), the Springfield Police Department responded to a reported vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash in the 2700 block of E. 22nd Avenue. Upon the arrival of officers, a 48-year-old man was found down in the roadway.
15442. ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A person is dead after an overnight hit-and-run in southwest Atlanta near Cascade Park, according to police.
15443. A Lauderhill Police officer was hospitalized after being intentionally run over while working on an investigation on Tuesday, officials said.
15444. GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WNEM) – Grand Blanc Township police are looking for a driver who seriously injured a pedestrian and left the scene.
15445. EUGENE, Ore. – A 48-year-old man suffered minor injuries on Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle whose driver reportedly initially left the scene, according to the Springfield Police Department.

DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines police are asking the community for help after a hit-and-run crash killed 46-year-old Eric Scott Andrews late Saturday night in the Highland Park neighborhood.
15447. Pittsburgh police are now trying to track down a man accused of running over a woman while he was driving a U-Haul truck in Homewood South.
15448. Officers in Boyle Heights are searching for a driver who sent a man to the hospital after a devastating hit-and-run crash. The crash happened earlier this month, but the Los Angeles Police Department released video of the crash on Wednesday with the hopes of identifying the car or the driver.
15449. PHOENIX — A woman has died after she was struck by a car in west Phoenix. Police said that the driver involved fled the scene.
15450. A Philadelphia police officer is recovering after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver. It happened just before noon Thursday on the 6800 block of Haverford Avenue in West Philadelphia. Investigators say the 50-year-old officer was investigating a separate vehicle when the hit-and-run driver struck him and took off.
15451. Charkita’s mother, Shappell Pope, broke into tears as she made an emotional plea for justice. ”I just want them to come forward,” she sobbed. “Please just turn yourself in. You know you hit my daughter. I just want justice.” In her obituary, Pope, who was known as “Kita,” was described as a “beautiful, smart and caring woman who never met a stranger.”
