15055. Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed a man in his 30s who was skating on Rollerblades in West Los Angeles. The collision occurred around 8:38 p.m. Friday near 2120 S. Bundy Drive near Olympic Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
15056. Police Chief Ed Burman and Fire Chief Neil McPherson are asking for the public’s help in the wake of a hit-and-run crash Friday night in Wayland. First responders received a call at 6:59 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, reporting that a 72-year-old woman was struck along Route 30. According to a preliminary investigation, it appears the woman was trying to cross Route 30 at the intersection of Old Tavern Road when she was struck.
15057. Los Angeles police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two drivers involved in two collisions that killed a bicyclist in Northridge on Thursday evening.
15058. One person was killed and another was seriously hurt in a hit-and-run in Gresham early Tuesday morning.
15059. One man is dead after a hit-and-run crash in Phoenix at the intersection of 16th Street and Camelback Road.
15060. Columbus police are still searching for suspects involved in a double hit-and-run that took the life of a man five months ago, despite witness statements and a description of at least one of the vehicles involved.

Cureton, a mother and EMT, was driving home from a restaurant when she heard the crash. “I heard tires screech and a big boom and then realized that there was somebody on the ground,” Cureton recalled. “She was just laid out lifeless and I couldn’t even think of a reason to not stop and offer CPR.” The 20-year-old died at the scene and the 23-year-old was transported to a local hospital with non-fatal injuries.

15063. PRYOR, Okla. — Investigators believe a hit and run crash killed a teenage boy riding a bicycle just north of downtown Pryor. It happened in the early morning of September 22nd. “It’s very tragic that this would happen and somebody would leave the scene,” Pryor Creek Chief of Police Jeremy Cantrell said Sunday afternoon.
15064. Chicago police are searching for the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a bicyclist seriously hurt early Saturday near Cicero.
15065. At least one has died and another was critically injured in separate hit-and-runs in Oakland and San Francisco just hours apart.
15066. A man in his 50s is dead after a crash on the Northwest Side early Monday morning. Police said the man and woman were pushing their vehicle off the highway when a gray pickup truck crashed into the back of their car before taking off. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was transported to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
15067. KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are searching for a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run that seriously injured a man and dog in Independence.

15069. WAKEFIELD, Bronx (WABC) — Police are investigating after a man was struck and killed by a tow truck that reportedly fled the scene on Monday, police said.
15070. THORNTON, Colo. (KDVR) — Thornton police released new information and images of a car and a driver who, they said, intentionally hit a pedestrian.
15071. EASTPOINTE, Mich. – Police are searching for the suspect in a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened in Eastpointe.
15072. San Antonio police are seeking the public’s help to locate the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of a 27-year-old man earlier this month.
15073. The Pryor Police have identified the teen killed in a hit-and-run on Sunday. The police chief confirmed that Caiden Adkins, 15, was struck by a vehicle sometime before 4:35 a.m. while riding his bike on the southbound side of Highway 69, just south of 470th Road.
15074. Arkansas State Police officials are asking for the public’s help in gathering more info on a hit-and-run incident that left a woman with serious injuries on Monday night. According to an ASP release, White County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to 911 call reporting that a person was hit on the highway between Simpson Lane and Ransom Smith Road.
15075. A pedestrian is dead after a hit-and-run crash Thursday morning in Virginia. Fairfax County Police responded to a deadly crash at Route 1 and Woodlawn Trail in Fort Hunt. When they arrived, they found a man who had been struck by a vehicle. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver who hit the man fled in the vehicle.
15076. A pedestrian was killed by a driver who fled on Richmond Highway near Mount Vernon Plaza this morning (Thursday). Fairfax County police officers were dispatched around 6:47 a.m. to Richmond Highway at Woodlawn Trail in Hybla Valley for a crash that left a man on the ground with “serious head trauma,” according to scanner traffic. “They have a lot of bystanders over there. Not sure which direction, but they have that guy surrounded,” an officer said.
15077. Law enforcement officers responded to Belvoir Highway in Pitt County Wednesday for a possible hit-and-run involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian was pronounced dead on the shoulder of Old Pactolus Highway near Redmond Ln. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol worked with the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office to gather evidence at the scene.
15078. HAVERHILL, Mass. — Police are searching for a driver who allegedly struck a pedestrian and fled the scene Saturday night.
15079. Philadelphia Police have now identified the 14-year-old girl killed in a hit-and-run in West Philadelphia on Thursday night. Police said just after 9:30 p.m., Dawn Watson was hit by a driver traveling at a high rate of speed while crossing Haverford Avenue near 66th Street with her mother. “They were coming back from the store apparently. They had some groceries in their hand, and they were trying to cross in the crosswalk here when the vehicle struck the little girl,” said PPD Inspector Michael Gormley.
15080. A pedestrian injured in a hit-and-run Thursday night in Stockton has died, officials said.
15081. LEWISVILLE, Texas – Lewisville police are looking for a person they say hit and killed a man earlier this month. Police say the man’s body was found in the area of 400 E SH 121 Business, near S Mill Street shortly before 5 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17.
15082. GREENSBORO, N.C. — A woman is recovering from life-threatening injuries after she was hit by a car in Greensboro on Sunday, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
15083. Phoenix police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash near 19th Avenue and Roosevelt Street Thursday night. Police say the crash happened at about 5:30 p.m. and involved four vehicles, one of which left the scene before police arrived.
15084. Emmanuel Torres, 34, of El Paso, was crossing the street in the 7200 block of Alameda Avenue about 7:25 p.m. Sept. 24, when he was hit by a 2014 Nissan Titan driven by a 55-year-old man, officials said. The collision caused Torres to fall onto the ground and he was struck by a pickup truck. The pickup truck fled the scene. Torres died at the scene of the accident.
15085. Police in Clarksville are seeking public help in identifying an SUV that hit a pedestrian. The Clarksville Police Department said FACT Investigators were able to locate surveillance video of the SUV that struck a pedestrian on Ringgold Road Friday morning.
15086. Police are looking for the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run in Longwood. They say 56-year-old AlHadji Fofana was struck and killed by a stolen Ford van while crossing the street Wednesday.
