I covered Wing Bowl at work today. It’s not the first time, and probably won’t be the last.
As part of the festivities, 10 of 125 “Wingettes” qualified for the Wingette Of The Year “competition.” The 10 stood on a smaller stage between rounds and, like, posed or talent-competed for audience reaction. See below:
In the case of Penelope Ford, she adhered to a Rocky theme in which she wore black and gold, dropped her robe and performed a backflip into a split.
It was clear — to me at least — that this won the competition for Ms. Ford, who thought the Rocky theme helped secure her the prize.
