We go to the Philadelphia Zoo often. Which is why this week’s news that polar bear Klondike outlived polar-bear life expectancies but died as all living creatures do hit home.
Louden particularly loved heading to the polar-bear exhibit. Still will, I suppose. But he — like I — is hoping they bring another loving creature into that exhibit sometime soon. Yeah, there’s one left, but that one’s likely lonely. 🙁
RIP, Klondike. It was really fun hoping you’d jump in the water.
