I did not know Daniel Farrell. But after reading his obituary in Saturday’s Daily News, I wish I had. One excerpt helps explain why:
“Dan, aka ‘Floyd,’ was the only person to ever fall overboard on the Archangel, a New Jersey fishing charter captained by Mickey Melchiondo, better known as ‘Dean Ween’ in the band Ween.”
That’s not why he died. Just vignette-worthy for obituary inclusion. There’s more like that.
He sounds like he was good people. RIP, Floyd.
