I’d hoped the Open Letter of July 2013 regarding the misspelling of Bell Biv Devoe would have had an effect on those behind advertising upcoming shows along the Ridge Avenue side of the Robin Hood Dell Music Center.
But hoping, it seems, was not enough.
Not even a full year later, when driving past the Dell en route home today, something curious caught my eye.
Actually, somethings curious. First, the spelling of “Anniversary” on this sign:
But lo and behold, that was not enough. With all due respect to Mr. Al Jarreau, this is what popped up a few moments later:
All of which is to say, try harder, Robin Hood Dell Music Center. Hell, try at all.
