601. Memphis, TN. July 5. 37-year-old man struck and killed in front of a hospital by a “white newer model Chevrolet Caprice with a damaged font windshield” which fled the scene.
602. Wausau, Wisc. July 5. Man critically injured after being struck by a light silver Honda SUV with donut spare tire which fled the scene.
603. Winchester, Ind. June 30. 9-year-old suffers head and face injuries after being struck by “a older model light colored truck … pulling a dark-colored trailer with metal sides [that] contained a lawn mower and scrap metal.”
604. New Bedford, Mass. July 4. Man and woman found injured in the street and sidewalk respectively after being struck by a vehicle which was described in police broadcasts (but not in the story I read about it.)

LAWRENCE — Watching her baby boy sail through the air, land on a fire hydrant and flop on the ground like a rag doll was the most frightening thing Nury Rodriguez had ever seen.
Saturday marked two years since Nick Perkins (pictured), then 17, was hit and dragged for more than half a kilometre on Mount Albion Road in Stoney Creek as he cycled home from a party with a friend.
But for Perkins and his family it also marked how far he has come, including officially graduating from high school last month.
