An ongoing collection of unsolved hit-and-run cases, with a focus on car/pedestrian incidents, from across the country since Jan. ‘010. If you know something about any of these incidents, or one that I’ve missed, do the right thing and call the police, even anonymously.

359. Saginaw Twp., Mich. April 30. Black Chevy Trailblazer involved in five-car crash, flees and eludes those who tried to catch him/her.

360. Bart Twp., Pa. May 3. Three people slightly injured, including a 5- and 7-year-old boy, when the minivan they were in was struck by a van from which three people fled after the collision.

361. North Haven, Ct. May 5. 49-year-old man suffers non-life-threatening neck and back injuries after being struck by a “black or dark green older model Toyota pickup truck.”

362. Brainerd, Minn. May 4. Woman crashes her car and flips it into a house, barely missing a 5-year-old sleeping within feet of the window it struck. She fled from the scene and still hasn’t been found (as of when the linked story was posted.)

363. Philadelphia. May 5. 2-year-old boy hospitalized after being struck by a burgundy or maroon Dodge Caravan with H-M-C in the PA plates that fled after running into several cars.

Great story about a year-long effort to bring justice to a douchebag who ran a 20-something woman with his silver BMW and tried to go about life as a non-douchebag. Good for you, friends and supporters of Ashley Jackson (pictured) in Saratoga.

Another plea for help in the April 24 fatal hit-and-run of Brian DelGozzo of Cherry Hill, NJ. (I’ve been in touch with one of his cousins; they seem to be getting a lot of ultimately disproven glimmers of hope. It’s time to turn the driver in, South Jersey people who know what happened.)

Looks like ugly inside-and-out, elderly broad Suzanne Lammers is getting more comeuppances from her brilliant turn as Arrogant Rich Mother in a NY Times Vows piece. (And wow, how about at what first comment hints: the initial description does sound more daughter than mother, huh? Not that there’s anything wrong with that.)

Sigh:

“When she was entered in the system we incorrectly entered the crime as hit and run. She should have been entered as hit and run resulting in death,” Gelinas said. “It was incorrectly entered at the time. We’re entering information about thousands of inmates with far fewer staff and while these mistakes are rare, they do occur.”

PCP-laced weed. That’s all.
