1517. Charlotte, NC. April 30. 29-year-old bicyclist struck and killed by an older model four-door sedan, possibly a Toyota Tercel or Corolla that is silver or light-blue in color, which fled the scene.
1518. Newport News, Va. April 30. Woman seriously injured when struck by numerous vehicles.
1519. North Union Twp., Pa. April 29. 48-year-old man airlifted to the hospital after being struck and injured by an unknown vehicle which fled the scene.
1520. Miami Gardens, Fla. April 29. 14-year-old walking home from a Walmart with his brother struck and killed by a red Ford F-150 struck which fled the scene. “There’s no way, there’s nobody in this whole world who’d do something like that who has a heart,” said the teen’s mother, Beverly Eugene.
1521. Fremont, Ohio. April 30. Teen on bike injured when struck by a turquoise four-door sedan which fled the scene.
1522. Rockford, Ill. May 2. 44-year-old man struck and killed by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
1523. Loris, SC. May 2. 33-year-old pedestrian struck and killed by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
1524. Canton, Ohio. May 2. 17-year-old girl suffers minor injuries when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.

Before it stopped, the report shows, the vehicle nearly ran over the fallen pedestrians. Its driver never exited the car, though a rear-seat passenger got out and asked the pedestrians if they were OK, the women told police.
Then a front-seat passenger cried out that it wasn’t that bad of a crash, the pedestrians said.
The driver took off — headed east on Calder Way — when the pedestrians began to call police, according to the police report.
All three pedestrians reported suffering pain and bruising, though they did not appear to be taken to the hospital. Witnesses said the car sustained damage to its front, driver-side bumper and to its hood area.

Authorities said the officer was cut off by the other vehicle and hit at Stocker Street and Palermo Boulevard just before 1 p.m.
