A year after the fact, it is unfathomable that you appear to have gotten away with taking a life, without apology, excuse or explanation to those who still ache with the cruelty of her death.
“My mom died at an age when most people are expected to die,” said Eve. “But she wasn’t like most 85-year-olds. She lived on her own. She was vital. She was interested and active. She was never sick. She could have lived another 10 years.”
