792. Daytona Beach, Fla., Aug. 20. Man in 50s suffers leg trauma after being struck by a small sedan which fled the scene.

793. Mcallen, Texas. Aug. 20. 23-year-old man injured after being struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.

794. Dixmoor, Ill. Aug. 20. 29-year-old man struck and killed after an altercation with his girlfriend in an SUV. Details emerging.

795. Colorado Springs, Colo. Aug. 21. 40-year-old man suffers life-threatening brain injury after being struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.

796. Pittsburgh, Pa. Aug. 21. 20-year-old woman suffers head injury after being struck by a white Chevy Cavalier with a rear spoiler which fled the scene.

797. New Haven, Ct. Aug. 22. 52-year-old man critically injured after being struck by a yet-identified vehicle which left him in the street for police to later find.

798. Longview, Texas. Aug. 21. 60-year-old woman killed after being struck by a vehicle, possibly a white pickup, which fled the scene.

799. Dayton, Ohio. Aug. 22. Man hurt after being struck by a car which fled. Further details not released.

800. Cheyenne, Wyo. Aug. 21. 47-year-old man delivering newspapers injured after being struck by a vehicle which fled. It was later found, the 19-year-old driver charged.

Mark Venezia, whose wife gave birth this week as she remains hospitalized following a May hit-and-run accident, was arrested Thursday night at Sisters Hospital after refusing to leave when visiting hours were over, Buffalo police said.
