16568. Investigators determined that the man was riding a bike when he was hit by a vehicle that then fled the area. He is still alive, but has a broken pelvis and a broken back. Police were looking for a Volkswagen Jetta, which was located after a CrimeStoppers tip. Police said no arrests were made, and FOX31’s Jim Hooley reported they’re still looking for the driver of the car.
16569. PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Authorities have identified the man killed in a late-night hit-and-run crash earlier this week as police continue searching for the driver believed responsible.

A photo showing a blur of a white SUV was released by San Diego County Crimestoppers on Wednesday in hopes of capturing the driver who fatally struck a beloved Pacific Beach bar manager last weekend. Qwente Bryant, known as Q to loved ones, was crossing the street near Sandbox Pizza, at Garnet Avenue and Ingraham Street, when he was struck by the westbound Mercedes-Benz SUV shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday, according to San Diego police. The driver left the crash site northbound on Gresham Street.
16571. MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A bicyclist was killed after being struck by a car in South Memphis on Wednesday night, police said.
16572. State police are investigating a hit-and-run that took place on Mile Hill Road in Tolland. Officials said a car hit a man who was walking with his snowblower. The car then fled the scene.

16580. PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A 9-year-old boy is recovering after being struck by a hit-and-run driver near his Southwest Philadelphia home Saturday afternoon. The boy’s mother is now pleading for the driver to come forward. “Turn yourself in, take accountability. That’s all I’m asking,” Kimyetta Demby said.
