16119. PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Portland Police say a woman died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver Wednesday night.
16120. Mount Vernon Police District— Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau are investigating a hit-and-run pedestrian crash that left a woman dead in Hybla Valley.
16121. A Bronx driver was charged on Thursday with leaving the scene of an accident after he fatally struck a 50-year-old woman in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday afternoon and then drove away, Manhattan prosecutors and the police said.
16122. According to investigators, a black-colored Infiniti with a Delaware paper tag was driving eastbound on Lancaster Avenue when it hit a 77-year-old woman. After the crash, the driver reversed their vehicle down Lancaster Avenue and drove south before dropping off a female passenger at a pizza shop near 56th Street and Girard Avenue, police explained. Police said that the woman who was hit by the car was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
16123. A woman has died after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a busy street in Carthage Friday morning, according to police.
16124. An investigation is underway after a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run in Scranton. Surveillance video posted to the department’s Facebook page shows an SUV striking a pedestrian Thursday morning at the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Birch Street. Police are now asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver or owner of the vehicle involved in the crash.

16127. OCEANSIDE, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — An unidentified man has died after being struck by a vehicle in Oceanside late Thursday night, according to authorities.
16128. The St. Cloud Police Department is looking for the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash on Saturday. St. Cloud police believe the vehicle is possibly a newer model Chevrolet Trax and said it was the first of two vehicles that struck a man as he attempted to walk across 13th Street (US 192) near Tennessee Avenue around 4 a.m. on Saturday.

16130. Police in Venice are searching for the driver who took off after killing a pedestrian last week. Neo Moroke, 23, was on a marked crosswalk near Washington and Lincoln Boulevards when a vehicle struck and killed him, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The crash happened around 1 or 2 a.m. on Sept. 20, police said.
16131. A driver fatally struck a 72-year-old woman and fled the scene in Northeast Philadelphia on Friday night, about two hours after another driver killed a 77-year-old woman in a separate hit-and-run crash in Overbook, police said.

16136. BENBROOK, Texas – Benbrook police are searching for the suspect involved in a fatal hit-and-run that killed a father of five as he exited his car on the highway after running out of gas.
16137. The Monroe Police Department identified the hit-and-run victim as 62-year-old David Tucker. MPD said Tucker was hit and killed by a vehicle at Marie Place and Milton Street on Sept. 29.
