15797. A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Saturday on the city’s North Side. His body was found near the street around 3:32 a.m. in the 3600-block of North DuSable Lake Shore Drive, Chicago police said.
15798. A 25-year-old man was killed Thursday after being struck overnight in North Charleston. Jermaine Brown of Orangeburg died on the scene after being injured in a hit-and-run collision around midnight on Otranto Road, according to the Charleston County Coroner’s Office.
15799. Police Friday released the video of a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian at a North Hollywood gas station as investigators continue to search for the suspect. The crash happened on Tuesday at around 5:10 a.m. at the Arco gas station on Roscoe Blvd and Laurel Canyon Blvd, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
15800. Fort Worth police are asking to the public’s help identifying the suspect of a fatal hit-and-run on Saturday morning. The Fort Worth Police Department (FWPD) said its officers got a call at approximately 5:50 a.m. Saturday, June 21 about an unconscious person in the roadway. Officers responded to the scene – the 1500 block of Saginaw Boulevard – and found a man dead.
15801. Per the Long Beach Police Department, officers were dispatched to the area of Ocean Boulevard and Falcon Avenue on reports of a collision around 9:30 p.m. A man was found lying in the roadway when officers arrived. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
15802. HANOVER, Md. (WBFF) — A 22-year-old man from Gaithersburg is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident early Saturday morning.
15803. (FOX40.COM) — The Modesto Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run in Modesto on Sunday morning.
15804. Authorities in Western Massachusetts are asking for the public’s help as they search for the driver involved in the fatal hit-and-run of a woman Monday morning in Springfield.
15805. Glendale police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who killed a 21-year-old woman. At 9 p.m. Monday, police responded to the area of 71st Avenue and Bell Road for an injured person. While on the scene, officers learned a woman was hit by a vehicle. She was taken to a hospital where she died. She has been identified as 21-year-old Tony Marie Gonzales.
15806. COLUMBUS, Ohio — A person was critically injured after they were struck by an SUV in Columbus early Sunday morning, according to police.
15807. Louisiana State Police are asking for the public’s help after a deadly hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian early Sunday morning. Troopers say 36-year-old Daniel Garcia was walking along LA 327 Spur near Rush Avenue between 3:45 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. when he was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene. Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene.
15808. KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A construction worker was killed Wednesday in a hit-and-run crash in the Northland, Kansas City, according to the Kansas City Police Department (KCPD).
15809. ST. LOUIS — Police are searching for a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run. They have released an image of the SUV involved in the collision. A driver going northbound on Pope struck a pedestrian near West Florissant at around 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 20. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
15810. AUSTIN, Texas — Police asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a cyclist in South Austin last month.
15811. “I said, ‘The person is going to get hit.’ As soon as I said, ‘the guy’s going to get hit,’ the car hit him, bam!” recalled Throw. “The person who hit him came out of the vehicle, came back over to him and looked at him, ran back into his car, and took off.”
15812. MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — West Virginia State Police are looking for a suspect involved in a hit and run that killed a person in Berkeley County Thursday.
15813. ATLANTA – A pedestrian has died after a hit-and-run crash early Friday morning in Atlanta. Police are now searching for the driver responsible for the deadly crash and a female passenger.
15814. A bicyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash in downtown Des Moines on Thursday evening. According to Des Moines police, the crash happened in the area of 6th Avenue and Cherry Street, near the Polk County Courthouse and DART Central Station, shortly before 5 p.m.
15815. A 73-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Thursday morning in Morton Grove, Illinois.
15816. OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. (KOKH) — Enid Police are asking for the public’s help in solving a hit-and-run incident that left a bicyclist injured on Wednesday night.
15817. Authorities with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office said around noon Friday, deputies were called to Felton Road in the town of Peru, New York. They said a witnesses told them a dark-colored Ford Explorer with tinted windows was headed north on Felton Road when it hit a 61-year-old female bicyclist.
15818. A bicyclist was struck and killed Friday along Route 1 in Scarborough by a driver who police say fled the scene.
15819. The Akron Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that happened early Saturday morning, just after midnight. According to a press release from the Akron Police Department, the crash resulted in the tragic death of a 43-year-old woman.
15820. A driver who struck a pedestrian in a wheelchair in Fort Lauderdale Saturday night remains on the loose, police said. According to Fort Lauderdale Police, officers arrived at the area of Northwest 11th Avenue and West Broward Boulevard after receiving reports of a hit-and-run.
