15100. There have been 473 hit-and-run crashes in Philadelphia as of Oct. 15, according to police data. Of those, 36 were fatal, the data shows. Last year through the same time period, there were 588 such crashes, 26 of them fatal.

15104. DAVIE, FLA. (WSVN) – A woman’s body was found on the roadway in Davie, Friday morning, prompting a police investigation and hours long traffic congestion in the area.
15105. The incident occurred at the intersection of Acton Circle and Monte Vista Road, according to a news release from the Asheville Police Department. According to police, Robert David Bennett, 85, died at the scene. Police reported Bennett was struck by a dark-colored sedan while he was crossing Monte Vista Road.
15106. BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. — Police are searching for an alleged hit-and-run driver after A 12-year-old girl was struck and injured while walking to her school bus stop Wednesday morning in Brooklyn Park.
15107. Upon arrival, first responders found Michael Schoemann, 35, on the ground. He was declared dead on the scene. The preliminary investigation found Schoemann was either stopped or laying down in the eastbound lanes when he was hit by a gray 2013 to 2017 Chevrolet Traverse.
15108. Tulsa Police responded to a hit-and-run accident in downtown Tulsa near the Salvation Army Center of Hope building on Wednesday night. Police said a 60-year-old woman in a wheelchair was hit by a car, which left the scene. Another woman was pushing the 60-year-old in the chair when the incident happened. Police said both people were hit and were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
15109. Genevieve Cochran, Dunbenit’s mother said, “This was the last of my children. Not having family to celebrate Christmas with is difficult.”
15110. Cumberland County police are searching for the suspects involved in three separate hit-and-run crashes, all of which happened on Wednesday, October 30.
15111. Auburn Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a driver involved in a hit-and-run collision that left a 48-year-old man critically injured.
15112. A Chicago patrol officer was injured after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver on the city’s South Side early Friday morning.
15113. According to Knoxville PD, officers responded to the scene of the crash on Magnolia Avenue at Mary Street around 7:45 p.m. and found a man critically injured after being struck by a vehicle. Officers attempted to help the victim, but he was pronounced dead after being taken from the scene.
15114. The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating a hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian in Fairland and seek the public’s help identifying the driver of a silver 2006 Infiniti sedan who fled the scene.
