14840. SEATTLE — What was first believed to be a vehicular homicide by a hit-and-run driver in Seattle’s Lake City neighborhood is now being described simply as a homicide, but at least one car was involved, according to Seattle Police.
14841. Police in Georgia are investigating a hit-and-run incident that injured a pedestrian. It happened Saturday night in Dalton.
14842. ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Police Department released new surveillance video Monday in connection to a hit-and-run investigation. A three-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle on Mount Read Boulevard on July 10. He was hospitalized with what police said were life-threatening injuries.
14843. Police are still searching for the hit-and-run driver who severely injured a woman in her 70s in South Los Angeles back in January.
14844. BALDWIN HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Tuesday morning in Baldwin Hills, and a search for the driver is underway. It happened just before 2 a.m. near La Cienega and Obama boulevards. The woman, who has not been identified, was crossing the street when she was struck.

14846. San Luis Obispo police officers are searching for a hit-and-run driver who injured two bicyclists on Tuesday. Shortly before noon, two bicyclists were riding southbound on S. Higuera near the cemetery when a white sedan hit and injured them. The driver did not stop. Both bicyclists were injured in the hit-and-run crash. Their current condition is not available at this time.
14847. Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run collision that killed a male pedestrian in central Phoenix on Tuesday, authorities said.
14848. FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The Allen County Sheriff’s Department (ACSD) shares that a hit-and-run crash on northbound I-69 at Union Chapel Road left one person dead early Thursday morning.
14849. Chicago police have released a picture of the vehicle they say critically injured a 9-year-old girl in a hit-and-run crash in the city’s Jeffery Manor neighborhood last week. Police said the girl was crossing the street with two others when the driver of a silver SUV failed to stop at a red light and hit her just before 8:40 p.m. in the 9500-block of South Paxton Avenue in the city’s Jeffery Manor neighborhood, CPD said.
14850. Police are searching for the suspect in a fatal hit-and-run overnight in south St. Louis. St. Louis police tell First Alert 4 they were called to the scene of a crash at Bellerive and Minnesota around 10 p.m. One person was killed and the vehicle involved fled the scene.
14851. The Rexburg Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver of a White Acura TLX. The vehicle was involved in a pedestrian bicyclist hit and run, resulting in an injury to a juvenile.
14852. ALLEN CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Allen County Sheriff’s Department says that officers are currently on the lookout for a red or maroon semi-truck that was involved in a fatal hit-and-run on I-69 Thursday morning. Officers found a disabled semi truck close to the 317 mile-marker around 2:30 a.m. and also discovered a body next to it. Police believe that the body was the driver of the disabled semi.
14853. The man who police say is responsible for the hit and run death of a beloved Tennessee State University player last April has turned himself in to answer to several charges.

According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, around 3:40 a.m. on July 21, officers responded to the intersection of Laurel Fort Meade Road and the access road to the Delta Bingo for a hit-and-run related crash. Devin Jones, 34, of Laurel, was found at the scene and taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
14855. The Austin Police Department requested help finding a person of interest in connection with a hit-and-run crash that occurred in September 2023. According to APD, 20-year-old Nilson Isaac Perez Gomez may have information regarding the incident.
14856. A 57-year-old is dead following an early morning crash that involved two officers in a Milwaukee police squad car. Milwaukee police say they were responding to a hostage situation near the city’s North Division neighborhood at around 2:36 a.m. near N. 14th Street and W. North Avenue when they struck a body lying in the road. First responders determined that the 57-year-old died at the scene.
14857. EL PASO, Texas — The Special Traffic Investigation Unit is asking the community for help in locating two drivers who may have information on a pedestrian hit-and-run that occurred July 16.
14858. MILLCREEK, Utah — The Unified Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a hit-and-run that ultimately claimed the life of the victim.
14859. INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (KCTV) – The Independence Police Department reported a hit-and-run crash on Saturday that left a pedestrian seriously injured.
14860. A man is dead following an alleged hit-and-run in north Phoenix, the city’s police department said. Phoenix police officers were called to an injured person near Cave Creek and Bell roads just after 6 a.m. on Sunday. When officers arrived, they found a man who was dead and showed obvious signs of trauma, police said.
14861. DALLAS — A male pedestrian died after being hit by several vehicles in Dallas overnight, police said.
14862. DALLAS — A female pedestrian was killed in an alleged hit-and-run in Dallas Sunday, police said.
14863. Officers with the Kinston Police Department are seeking an individual involved in a hit in run that occured on Saturday. On July 27, officers responded to a report that a bicyclist was hit by a car at the intersection of East Lenoir and Davis Street. Fifty-seven year old Stefan Pigford was found injured in the street when officers arrived.
