14788. Delaware State Police have identified the 57-year-old Newark man who died Friday afternoon in a hit-and-run crash in Ogletown.
14789. LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville Metro police said there’s no vehicle or suspect information out at this time after a woman was killed in a late night hit-and-run.
14790. Authorities with the Los Angeles Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver, who left a pedestrian with severe injuries earlier this month in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Valley Glen.
14791. New Hampshire authorities are searching for a vehicle in connection with a hit-and-run that killed a bicyclist last week in Manchester.
14792. The Richmond Police Department has identified the man killed in a July 6 hit-and-run on Snead Road in the city’s Southside.
14793. A man visiting Colorado was injured in a hit-and-run last week, and now Boulder police are asking for your help to find the driver suspected in the crime.
14794. BOONE, N.C. — Boone Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle connected with a hit-and-run near Appalachian State University last month.
14795. Less than a second after he hit the ground, the driver of a car heading east on Hillsborough Avenue fatally struck Rodriguez and continued driving. Rodriguez died at the scene. Tampa police have not yet identified or arrested the driver in the hit-and-run.
14796. PORTLAND, Ore. — A man is in the hospital after a driver hit him in North Portland’s Kenton neighborhood early Thursday morning. Portland police are investigating the crash as a hit-and-run.
14797. Rochester, N.Y. — A child was hospitalized following a hit-and-run crash on the city’s west side Wednesday night, according to police. Officers responded to Mount Read Boulevard near Jay Street just before 10 p.m. and found a 3-year-old boy who had been struck by a southbound vehicle. Police said the driver fled the scene and has not been found. The child was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with what police called life-threatening injuries.
14798. A 25-year-old pedestrian was killed Tuesday night when a driver sped past a deputy and hit the man, according to Fayetteville police.
14799. The Alcoa Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run of a cyclist and is asking for the public’s help. The hit-and-run occurred on Wednesday, July 10 around 9:30 p.m. A cyclist was traveling down East Hunt Road at Alcoa Trail when a vehicle struck the bike from behind and drove away.
14800. The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash in Van Nuys last month that resulted in the death of an elderly man.
14801. On July 11, 2024, at approximately 11:00 p.m., State Police members responded to a car versus pedestrian accident on State Route 22B in the village of Morrisonville. A preliminary investigation determined an unknown vehicle was traveling on State Route 22B in the village of Morrisville when the operator of a vehicle struck a pedestrian and fled the scene. The victim was located on the south shoulder of State Route 22B and sustained life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to CVPH and later transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center, listed in critical condition.
14802. OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A middle-aged man was killed in a hit and run accident early Saturday morning. The accident happened near south 90th and L streets just before 2:30 a.m. The victim was identified as Robert G Mummert, aged 56.
14803. Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a car and driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash Saturday morning in south Aurora. The crash occurred at about 9:30 a.m. at East Hampden Avenue and South Uravan Street. An unidentified man struck by a blue sedan was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries.
14804. A driver struck and killed a man on the city’s South Side on Saturday morning, Chicago police said. Police said the hit-and-run crash happened in the Roseland neighborhood’s 10700-block of South Emerald Avenue just before 6:16 a.m.
