13216. “It was definitely very, very high speed because the car parts were everywhere,” said witness Aidin Yousefi. “I saw these AirPods in the street and I saw a broken cell phone and I was trying to call 911, but I couldn’t. But my girlfriend was actually able to call 911.” Investigators say Zareaseisan was possibly out for a run when she was hit by a vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
13217. A truck hit a pedestrian crossing a Northampton crosswalk Tuesday afternoon. Police are now searching for the truck’s driver after he or she fled.
13218. The Austin Police Department (APD) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a pickup truck involved in a hit-and-run that left a victim in critical condition.
13219. Washington State Patrol are investigating a felony hit-and-run involving a pedestrian. There are no witnesses to the crime at this time, and the state patrol is looking for any recordings of the incident, according to a news release from Washington State Patrol.
13220. The Jacksonville Police Department is searching for the driver of a vehicle that may have information on a fatal hit-and-run.
13221. Philadelphia police are searching for a driver wanted in a deadly hit-and-run rampage last year. Thirty-two-year-old Neera Nicolas-Hudson is facing several charges, including murder, in connection with a series of crashes that happened back on December 26, 2022. (Update: Arrested. “I’m just really grateful,” Peoples-Prophet told The Inquirer following news of the arrest.)
13222. DURHAM, N.C. — A pursuit of a hit-and-run suspect that ended with the suspect being tackled by his own father was caught on Durham County sheriff’s deputies’ body and dash camera videos, WRAL reports.
13223. A woman was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash on Wednesday afternoon in Southeast Portland, police reported.
13224. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A teen who was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash on Springfield Highway Friday night died Wednesday due to his injuries.
13225. AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Virginia State Police is searching for a hit-and-run suspect that was involved in a deadly accident involving a pedestrian in Augusta County.
13226. According to investigators, a 30-year-old woman was riding her bike on E. 91st when she tried to ride across Superior Avenue, outside of the crosswalk and collided with a Dodge Challenger, which was going well over the 35 mph speed limit.
13227. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — The San Diego Police Department has released surveillance photos of a truck that hit and seriously injured a woman walking in Little Italy in April.
