I once encountered Wesley Willis in the bathroom at the Earl. I told him, “I hope you have a good show.” He said, “You like my music?” Of course I do/did, and I sure as hell wasn’t going to tell a 300 pound schizophrenic black man “No, you’re music sucks” in that setting. He gave me a fist bump but no head butt. I miss that guy.
