At the time of the accident, the vehicle did not have its headlights on and that the car did not stop or brake when it struck the children’s stroller.

10579. Police in Philadelphia are searching for a hit-and-run driver after they say a man was struck while crossing the road on Wednesday night. It happened around 8 p.m. on northbound Roosevelt Boulevard at Pratt Street.

10586. ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) — After 20 years, there is still no justice for a family in St. Paul. Earl Lorenzo Farley was an only son and father to four boys. The 28-year-old was killed in a hit-and-run along University Avenue West this month two decades ago. Police still have not made any arrests.

James Mckinnon’s security cameras caught the entire crash. “I couldn’t believe it, I saw the car coming around the corner — I can’t believe I’m watching it and boom there it was,” he said. “A car comes flying around the corner and hit my car and hit the kids, sent the kids flying, I grabbed the phone, called the cops and came out here and by that time they had already left.” All four children, who are ages 12 or 13, were treated by emergency services at the scene, police said.

10589. STOCKTON (CBS13) — Mariza Ruelas says she drove past Stockton police investigating a hit-and-run at Lever Boulevard and Hawaii Avenue on her way to pick up a rider, but she had no idea the man who got in her car was a suspect wanted by police.

10592. “My glasses flew off of my face, so I didn’t see anything,” Diaz said. “So, I kept on calling out for him. When I finally found my glasses, he was laying on the ground. He got hit by the second car.”
10593. His eldest daughter, Paulina Espinoza, says police caught the hit-and-run driver a few hours after the accident but it’s not lessening the pain any. She thinks all hit-and-run drivers are cowards. “I wish I could give him one last hug,” she said, choking back tears.

10597. PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A 15-year-old boy was struck and injured in a hit-and-run in the city’s Mayfair section on Tuesday morning. Police say the Lincoln High School student was involved in some sort of altercation with the driver of a gold Nissan sedan when he was struck.
10598. A child who was struck along with his father Monday night in Chandler by a hit-and-run driver has died from his injuries, a day after his father was killed in the same crash, police confirmed late Tuesday.

10601. CHERRY HILL – Police are seeking the hit-and-run driver who killed a pedestrian in a Route 38 crosswalk. The victim, identified only as a male, was struck in predawn darkness around 4:45 a.m. Friday in a marked crosswalk near Chestnut Street, said Cherry Hill police.
10602. DETROIT – A woman has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left another woman dead in the middle of a Detroit street, police said. Anna Catherine Philpot, 26, of Sterling, Michigan, is accused of hitting Rebecca Sherrill with her vehicle Aug. 25 in Detroit, according to authorities.
