Five-Foot-Three Patton Oswalt Uses Tired ‘Joke’ To Weigh In On #PopeInPhilly

As you can see above, wee lil chatterbox Patton Oswalt dusted off thee ole “Philly fans throw batteries” chestnut to weigh in on Pope Francis’ upcoming visit to Philadelphia.

Here’s a deconstruction of the joke: Some people in Philly did something at a sporting event sometime long ago, so he hopes the Pope’s protective road ride is constructed in a fashion that takes that history into account.

Rolling. On. The. Floor.

Laughing. My. Ass. Off.

If he ever started being so, Oswalt stopped being funny when he became the self-presented arbiter of ethics and morality on Twitter dot com. With this “joke,” he reinforced the fact that he susceptible to being a total hack, and it would be both immoral and unethical not to point out this reality.

Throughout history, tiny little people have proven to be among the most dangerous. Stay woke, people.

Did I mention that Patton Oswalt is really short? This reminds me of a grrrrrrrreeeeeat joke: Why can’t midgets play football? Because the grass tickles their balls.

LOL, get it? It’s because they’re so short!*
