Every once in a while, a political ad comes along that puts everything into focus. But here’s what disappoints me most about this one from Tim James, candidate for governor of Alabama: He never answers the question he poses at the beginning, so I suppose we’re all resigned to never learn why, in fact, our politicians make us give driver’s license exams in 12 languages.
