CHATSWORTH, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Los Angeles police identified the driver believed to be responsible for a deadly hit-and-run during an alleged illegal street race in Chatsworth on Thursday.
Henry Gevorgyan, 21, is accused of driving a gray Ford Mustang that plowed into a crowd of onlookers, killing two spectators and seriously injuring another person.
The injured victim was said to be in critical but stable condition at a local hospital and is expected to survive. One of the victims who was killed has been identified as 26-year-old Eric Siguenza.

A Corona man was arrested and charged for allegedly striking a woman with his car at the intersection of 76th Street and Woodside Avenue and fleeing the scene in his vehicle, police announced Monday.
The fatal incident, in which Valentine Gonzalez, 27, of Corona allegedly struck a pedestrian in his white Mitsubishi, occurred on Sunday a little before 8:38 p.m. Emergency Medical Services, who responded to the scene with police, pronounced the victim dead.
Gonzalez was stopped by police one block away on the corner of 73rd Street and 41st Avenue and was taken into custody.
Tuesday morning, elected officials and community leaders came together across the street from the intersection where the victim, Kunnin Ubonwan, was hit and killed, hoping to shed light on similar accidents around the borough.

Arthur Toledano was found guilty as charged of manslaughter in the death of 6-year-old Shaud Wilson, who was struck by Toledano’s speeding vehicle while walking in the Paris Avenue crosswalk at Lafreniere Street on the morning of Feb. 3, 2014. The boy’s 9-year-old sister, Shanaya Wilson, also was struck by Toledano’s car, but survived her head and ear injuries.

WEST ASHLEY, S.C. (WCIV) — Friends and family of Jathon Bellamy gathered Sunday to raise money for his funeral at Bellamy’s favorite West Ashley bar.
They’re also asking for the driver who hit Bellamy to come forward. It’s been four days since he was hit and police still do not have a suspect in custody.
