5503. Gates, NY. Aug. 12. 20-year-old man fatally struck by a grey Chrysler Sebring which fled the scene.
5504. Indianapolis, Ind. Aug. 12. Child injured when struck by a black pickup truck which fled the scene.
5505. Wilbraham, Mass. Aug. 13. Bicyclist suffers minor injuries when struck by a red pickup truck which fled the scene.
5506. Ottawa Co., Mich. Aug. 12. 23-year-old man seriously injured when struck by a light-colored, possibly grey or white Honda Insight which fled the scene.
5507. Fort Worth, Texas. Aug. 13. 37-year-old woman fatally struck by two vehicles which fled the scene.
5508. Philadelphia, Pa. Aug. 12. 16-year-old male on bicycle injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
5509. Ramsey, NJ. Aug. 15. 55-year-old man critically injured when struck by an older four-door “police-type” sedan which fled the scene.
5510. San Francisco, Cal. Aug. 15. 2-year-old girl fatally struck by a white mid-90s four-door sedan — either a Camry, Honda, or Lexus — with a dark-colored mismatched front bumper and dark or black rims which fled the scene.
5511. Nashville, Tenn. Aug. 16. 34-year-old man critically injured when struck by a blue or black four-door sedan which fled the scene.
5512. Houston, Texas. Aug. 15. 50-year-old woman fatally struck by a silver Chevy Silverado which fled the scene.
5513. Minneapolis, Minn. Aug. 15. 39-year-old man injured when intentionally struck by a maroon four-door vehicle which fled the scene.

HAMILTON — The hit-and-run incident that left a Hamilton man in serious condition at a local hospital was captured on a neighborhood homeowner’s surveillance camera, police said today.
The footage shows 24-year-old Ryan Hamilton being struck by a four-door sedan occupied by three people around 2:28 a.m. in the area of Sylvan Avenue and Perilli Drive Sunday, Lt. Richard Mastropolo said.

SEATTLE — Seattle’s overcast weather never looked so good to Mariah Boehm.
The 17-year old went home Tuesday after spending nearly 10 weeks in hospital beds. First responders had given her a 10 percent chance of survival, her father said, after a driver hit her as she was walking home from taking a high school exam on May 29.
“It’s been really tough because at the beginning I didn’t want to do anything,” Boehm said, as she sat in her wheelchair outside Seattle Children’s Hospital. “I was like, this big thing happened. It’s hard to get to sleep because you’re crying. You can’t move, but you sorta gotta push on.”
Police are still investigating the case and have not made any arrests. They are awaiting the results of a search warrant, said Terri Vickers, a spokeswoman for the Renton Police Department.
