A 60-year-old man was fatally struck by a vehicle Monday night in Southwest Philadelphia. Today, Philadelphia Police released a video in an attempt to locate, and hold responsible, the driver who left the scene.

On January 6, 2014, at 6:16 pm, the complainant, a 60 year-old male, was attempting to cross Island Avenue at the intersection of Lindbergh Boulevard when he was struck by a dark colored sedan traveling south on Island Avenue fatally wounding the complainant.
This vehicle did not stop and fled the scene continuing south on Island Avenue toward the Philadelphia International Airport.
Suspect Description: Unknown
Vehicle Description: Red with a black top, right front hubcap missing and will have damage to the front hood and possibly the windshield.
